Cannot access to admin Page (ReadyNas 102)

Hi there,

I have a problem. I can not connect to the admin page (FW 6.4.0). I did OS Reinstallation but unfortunately without effect. The network player has access to network files and can be played. Mapped drives can also be viewed from the computer but unfortunately, as I mentioned above, I can not get to the admin page.
Is it possible to fix the problem without the need for factory default reset or without the aid of support (three-month period a Free Installation Support Warranty has passed so I suspect that I can not use the remote assistance support)?

Hi piechu,

 

Let us isolate the problem.  Kindly answer the questions below:

 

a. Are there any changes on the settings on the RN102 before the problem has occurred?

b. Did you install/uninstall an App on the RN102?

c. Have you tried using another browser such as Firefox or Safari to access the admin page of the RN102?

d. Have you tried using another PC/laptop to access the admin page of the RN102?

e. Do you have a backup of the data stored in the RN314?

Any updates on this? I upgraded to 6.4.0 and initially noticed this behavior on my laptop. I accessed the admin page on another system and then installed the Python app. After it was installed my access to the admin page was lost on the other system. I rebooted the Netgear and it came back but no admin page access. SSH is fine and RAIDer finds the NAS as well....

 

EDIT: Nevermind, the issue was because I was attempting to access the device via it's IP address rather than by the hostname. I tried via hostname and it seems to be working OK now.

Hi there!

 
I solved the problem by installing Ready Cloud. From the the Ready Cloud I opened the admin Page and for now it works great 🙂 But since then I have a problem with access to the cloud - both from an application and browser - locally and remotely. All the time I get the message that the device is offline.

Hello piechu,

 

You mentioned you installed ReadyCloud which I suppose that is ReadyCloud app and from there you said you were able to get to the admin page. If this works then it opens a web browser. What is the URL in that address bar of the browser that opens the admin page?

 

Are you able to get to the files?
