Cannot write to AFP shares from Snow Leopard after 4.2.18 up
I updated the firmware on my Pro Business NAS to 4.2.18 to prepare for Mac OS X Lion. My Mac is still running Snow Leopard since then I cannot modify any files on my NAS using the AFP shares. I've tried the 'Set ownership ..." check box in the advanced tab for the share with not change. I've also restated the NAS/Mac a couple of times with no effect.
How can this be resolved?

Same problem with Lion. Tried creating a new share and testing...new shares have same issue

Re: Cannot write to AFP shares from Snow Leopard after 4.2.1
+1 I'm in the same boat. It appears to be confined to my home share, as Time Machine is working well, and I can access and manipulate my media share.
I logged into the readynas, all the permissions look sane on the filesystem.
