Changing complete RAID sets on OS6?
I seem to remember that this was possible on OS4, namely removing all disks, swapping in a new set, building a new RAID, and then be able to change back to the old RAID set. Changing with the unit powered off, of course. Is this still true with OS6, and/or are there any snags with legacy units?

Re: Changing complete RAID sets on OS6?
You can do this but do note SATA connectors are designed for a limited number of pulls and you can easily damage disks without realising it through electro-static discharge.

Re: Changing complete RAID sets on OS6?
Yep, not interested in doing it many times, just this one as I need to use my four-bay unit for another thing temporarily. Thanks for your answer! 🙂
