Copying large 4K video files to RN104

I have gigabit ethernet and router and am trying to determine if my copy speed makes sense.  I have moved to 4K video so of course these are large files: .5GB, 1GB even up to 5GB.

I am copying from SD cards attached to a fast windows computer via USB3.0

I am getting copy speeds of around 1.00 MB/s to 1.3 MB/s.  Is this a reasonable copy speed? I never really worried about it too much or noticed copying over smaller files.

Is there a recommended tool other than windows file explorer as I am not comfortable queing up too many files this size over a long period due to file explorer's quirkiness.  I used to use Terracopy but not sure how updated that is.

Anyway, a general read on those speeds would be great and what utility is safest to use.

I better get my backups done and put in those larger drives I bought for the NAS!

Thanks,

BJB

Copying large 4K video files to RN104 Part 2

I could not edit or reply to first post so I just wanted to update to state that a reboot of my router got speeds back in the 30's which seems to be about where I was before this issue.

In case you were wondering:  Something in the first post triggered the forum SPAM filter.  I released the first post, and then manually added your followup to the thread.
