Re: Crashplan JRE update needed
I didn't see the bit about tech support command line mode...which could have been interesting to try first...sorry I missed that, anyway I did the OS reinstall...Raidar sees it, but no admin page yet, I presume its taking a while to rebuild some stuff under /

Re: Crashplan JRE update needed
Maybe see if you can ssh in. Usually that works before the web server is up.

Re: Crashplan JRE update needed
Try root as the log-on, with netgear1 as the password.

Re: Crashplan JRE update needed
raidar finds it, shows it with a new name. it said "Upgrading" for a while, but now it says "healthy". However, hitting the admin button brings up nothing. Trying ssh comes back with connection refused.

Re: Crashplan JRE update needed
I dunno been waiting...still no connection. Ping works. nothing else. Raidar says its "Healthy". a new host name was assigned during the OS reinstall I guess. I dont' really know what else to do.

Re: Crashplan JRE update needed
Tech support mode ought to work, but you'd need help from there.

help from who?
whocares_ offered, so maybe PM him and take him up on it. Netgear support folks (mdgm or others) might be willing to help. I don't know if an official support request would be accepted in this case or not.
