DFS - Native?
Hey,
Is the DFS option on the RN204 native, or does it need a Windows Domain/Workgroup based DFS root?
I'm basically wondering if it would be possible to have 2 or more ReadyNAS' setup together so they're replicated and clients have a connection to the DFS root, then automatically failover if one ReadyNAS completely fails.
Without Windows Server (domain/workgroup)
Thanks

Re: DFS - Native?
Hello module12,
Not sure if I understand your question right but as far as I know, DFS on the NAS not need a Win Domain.
This How do I use DFS feature on the ReadyNAS OS 6 storage system? article might help you.
Regards,
