DUO v2 dashboard not loading in Chrome

Hi,

I am not able to log into the Dashboard on my Duo v2 using Chrome Version 34.0.1847.116 m. I am able to use Firefox ver 28.0. Is there a fix for this problem? I would rather have only one browser open at a time and Chrome is my choice presently.

This issue also affects ReadyNAS OS 6.

You will have to wait for a firmware update to hopefully address this issue.

Thank you for the quick reply, is there any estimate as to when the firmware will be available?

Thanks for the welcome, I've been a ReadyNAS user & fan for years, this is the first time I wasn't able to correct the problem myself.

I don't know if this issue will be addressed or when a firmware update would be made available if so. Considering the product is EOL it could be a while

I certainly hope this will be addressed...I have updated my Duo V2 to 5.3.10 so that it could interface with IE 11 but that doesn't work correctly either. If you go into the shares section, the information is all out of sync when you try and scroll the details on the right hand side....and now you can't access via chrome either.....what a sad sorry state.....How are you to maintain the NAS if you haven't got a working interface !!!

In regards to IE11 can you try clearing your web browser cache (e.g. Temporary Internet Files), close your
Web browser then reopen the Dashboard?

Could you also try a different browser again e.g. Firefox?

Netgear reports that the Chrome issue with OS6 is actually a Chrome bug, which will be fixed in version 35.

They haven't commented on the v2, but it sounds to me like temporarily using Chrome 35 beta might be worth a try.

I've cleared the cache on IE 11 several times.....but that didn't cure the fault.....The HTML coding is freezing some buttons when you use the scroll bar and this overlays on the underlying controls making it unreadable.....Noted about Chrome StephenB

Just a note of caution to anybody else who has upgraded there ReadyNas V2 to 5.3.10. If you were using 5.3.9 with Internet Explorer 11 as a workaround you needed compatibility settings set in the browser. Don't forget to remove this setting if you use the upgraded firmware 5.3.10 or the browser won't display some of the pages correctly.....Just worked that one out........then 5.3.10 and IE 11 work happy together

That just leaves Google Chrome to sort out there act now.....and all's happy in the world !!

Chrome has now been updated today (25/04/2014) to version build 30.0.01847.131 m and connectivity to the ReadyNas Duo v2 has been restored on Dashboard

Lucky you guys, i can't login to dashboard at all. Tried Chrome v35, Firefox v28 - "Unable to connect" :cry: File sharing works though. Any way to downgrade firmware without losing all data?

Hi all

I have been experiencing a very bizzare thing with my ReadyNAS104 .All of a sudden 1 week ago I couldnt
Get past the main log in screen after entering my username and password.Using ie and Chrome .The page
just stops working and stays on that screen .

So I then decided to upload new firmware only I had no way of getting it on the NAS .I did however then discover
the my iPhone could log through into the interface.I downloaded the pc SAFARI version from Apple .As soon as it
was installed I ran the browser and straight away I was in .
I have now successfully Upgraded to the latest firmware
HOWEVER I still cant access the NAS through the normal browsers.But no problem with SAFARI .
This is troubling in that I run the risk of SAFARI not working and then I will have no more access.

Do any of you peeps have any advise for me

This was a bug in Chrome - try manually updating it. You do this by selecting the icon in the upper right, then "About Google Chrome"

What firmware are you running on the RN104? BTW it is a totally different platform from the duo v2 - you should not have posted in this thread.

Bertocamus - if you update Chrome that should work.

IE11 should work as well - what version of OS6 are you running? 6.1.7?

I don't use IE11 much, but I do have it on one system. I just tried it with my RN102 (also running 6.1.7) and it isn't working for me either (both in normal and compatibility mode).
