If you have a suggestion for the service you want, then you should put it in the idea exhange.

https://kb.netgear.com/69/ReadyNAS-Data-Recovery-Diagnostics-Scope-of-Service says it is normally done remotely, but if the customer doesn't allow that, then the unit can be shipped to a Netgear support center at the customer's expense.  It doesn't say where those centers are located.

Is this hypothetical, or are you facing potential data loss?

@StephenBI am not experiencing those issues.

But This service should be implemented in order to help better the users without the capabilities.

It should be done worldwide.

Well, the service is already available world-wide, and in most cases you don't need to ship your disks anywhere.

Netgear would have to respond on what support centers you can use if the recovery can't be done remotely.

Provided your NAS is connected to a network with an internet connection providing remote access should be pretty straightforward.

This would be less costly and typically have a speedier resolution than sending the unit in to a support office.

Also if the unit is not packaged properly and/or mishandled there is a risk of damage occurring during shipment, so where you do send disks in it is advisable to clone the disks (label order) using a tool designed for cloning failing disks first.

Thanks @mdgm-ntgr and @StephenB  those things should be explicited clearly and in a more accecible way.

A pdf should be written like aviation check lists.
