Date and folder missing
Very occasionally, a whole folder just goes missing from the NAS, but also changes all the dates to the current day, and all files in that area... has anyone else had this?
This is shared between 5 machines.

Re: Date and folder missing
I have not seen this.
Is the folder a share? or a subfolder of a share?
What NAS are you using and what firmware does it run?
Are you sharing with SMB, NFS, or AFP?

Re: Date and folder missing
Nas 102
It's happened just twice in a year, but caused issues of course.
It was just one folder within about 20 others, then this folder and whole contents re-dated itself to September 24th 6am (when this happened I presume) no one was at work, and some folders emptied out the files, luckily backup solved this.
I share the whole nas drive folders with about 8 users for just shared documents.

Re: Date and folder missing
Hello connor25,
Maybe rebooting the NAS will help in case you get the same problem again or check on other computers on the network.
Regards,
