Dump all ReadyDLNA metadata

Is it possible to dump out all the metadata that ReadyDLNA has built?

Other than just being curious, I want to check why various players are displaying different albums with sort, it looks like the various "artist" tags are causing the issue.

You can install the Debug Toggle to increase the logging verbosity to the debug level: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=27946

Don't forget to install it again when done to change the logging level back.

Yes installed that, need to review the log - thanks.

I am really interested to see what is presented to the client - any way that you can suggest to see that? I don't think the minidlna has a detailed web interface for inspection?

Re: Dump all ReadyDLNA metadata

The log is upnp-av.log

We have a primitive status page as mentioned in this thread: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=27946

Re: Dump all ReadyDLNA metadata

Yep, found the log will review it tonight (no access to the unit right now).

The status primitives at http://ip:8200/status, whilst useful for overall problem discovery, is a very basic status of the library and what I need is a status of how the various files meta data are presented. Every client seems to have it's own interpretation!

Re: Dump all ReadyDLNA metadata

I found the following tools from Intel help upnp client debug: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articl ... y-overview

These allow inspection of the traffic generated by a DLNA server.
