FTP Problem (Connection timed out)
ReadyNas Ultra 6

I just switch on the FTP SERVER. I create a fresh user with the name BackupFTP.
I can connect to the ftp server with the user BackupFTP, but i get after 15-25 seconds a connection time out.
I use filezilla and here is the log:
Status: Connecting to 192.168.2.112:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Response: 220 ProFTPD 1.3.3c Server (NETGEAR ReadyNAS) [255.255.255.0]
Command: USER BackupFTP
Response: 331 Password required for BackupFTP
Command: PASS **********
Response: 230 User BackupFTP logged in
Command: OPTS UTF8 ON
Response: 200 UTF8 set to on
Status: Connected
Status: Retrieving directory listing...
Command: PWD
Response: 257 "/" is the current directory
Command: TYPE I
Response: 200 Type set to I
Command: PASV
Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (255,255,255,0,161,107).
Command: MLSD
Error: Connection timed out
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

You need to setup the masquerade address and passive port range in the Services tab. Masquerade address should be your external IP address or domain name and the passive port range must be forwarded from your router to the NAS. If you only plan to access the NAS over FTP from the LAN, try switching your FTP client to active mode.
