FTP server still broken in 6.8.1

FTP issues exist in the FTP server implementation. See report in 6.8.0 thread:

Problems are reported from Lexmark MX410de multifunction printer/scanner and OKI C5550 Multifunction printer/scanner.

This problem occurs when a scan takes more than a few seconds between pages. This problem did not occur before OS 6.8.0.

Perhaps related to bugs in the ProFTPD server software embedded in (and recently changed from 1.3.5b (maint) to 1.3.6 (stable)) in OS6:

Can we have OS6 roll-back to ProFTPD 1.3.5 (maint) that worked?

The bug reported on proftpd 1.3.6 is being look onto and there is a possibility fix might be available soon.
