File Search

I own two devices, RND312, and RND314, currently running 6.8

I saw this article (https://kb.netgear.com/000045492/ReadyNAS-OS-6-8-File-Search#) and got excited, I have been hoping for a functioning search for years, ....

I don't see a "File Search" option on the browser interface, at System > Setting, .... What am I missing?

Sorry, nothing showing on the System page, ...

File Search is now showing on the local machine, .... may have taken time to update(?)

Will check other unit later

Hi lamblu,

File search option is on system->settings>services section on nas admin page.

If you don't see file search option, maybe it is browser cache. You can clear browser cache and try again.
