Firmware Update 6.7.3 -> 6.7.4 OK

For the record, I have just updated 6.7.3 -> 6.7.4 and all is fine and well.  I know a bit of positive reinforcement is always welcome from the devs and fellow users alike, especially in light of the 'fun' I had earlier in the week with 6.7.1 -> 6.7.3 ; ).

Likewise here! It went smoothly.Thanks NETGEAR!

Is there anybody who turned AV on yet on an ARM device?

Re: Firmware Update 6.7.3 -> 6.7.4 OK

Hi everyone.

Just upgraded the firmware to 6.7.4 and was wondering how stable this version was, or if anyone is having the same issues I am experiencing?

- mediaservers (both Netgear and Nero MediaHome) are no longer working;

- the admin pages are noticably slower;

- cloud page under Admin fails to load and logs me out;

These are the things experienced so far.

Was wondering if anyone else was having the same issues?

Running RN104.

Re: Firmware Update 6.7.3 -> 6.7.4 OK

Greg_M the logs show that you updated from 6.6.1 to 6.7.4.

I can see your system was OOMing (running Out of Memory). This may suggest that you're running quite a bit on this system.

In meminfo.log I can see

SwapTotal: 523708 kB
SwapFree: 150352 kB

So you're using most of the swap space.

You could try disabling quotas on the data volume if you haven't already and see if this helps.

Re: Firmware Update 6.7.3 -> 6.7.4 OK

Just following on this thread, I updated both my 104 & 316 systems to 6.7.4 and the installation went very well with no issues.

The 316 was on 6.7.1 and the 104 was on 6.7.3 prior to the updates.

I have also started using AntiVirus again on my 104 after about 3-4 months and after the initial update and about 15 mins of disk activity everything seems to have settled down.

Hope this helps.

Re: Firmware Update 6.7.3 -> 6.7.4 OK

Thank you.

Apart from re-installing Nero, the drive now seems to be behaving like it used to.

Quotas were already disabled.

Out of interest, I downloaded the logs again and shows the following:

SwapTotal: 523708 kB
SwapFree: 323300 kB

Is this more 'normal?'

Thank you for your assistance.  Very much appreciated.
