Frontview login issue
Greetings,
I have a Pro 4 Plus NAS running 4.2.24.
Background:
I had 4 2TB drives installed, I shutdown the NAS, removed the drives, all numbered with data intact. I installed 4 new 3TB drives (WD30EFRX, selected from the Hardware Compatibility List) started RAIDar version 4.3.8, built the array (now showing 0% of 8326 GB used).
Problem:
I can't login to the NAS with Fronview. Neither the factory default password works, nor my previous custom password. So, I can't do any real configuration on the NAS. There is no data on the new disks, so I'm not worried about data loss. Should I shuffle the disks around and break the existing array and try again?
Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: Frontview login issue
The factory default password is netgear1 - is that what you tried? Your old password applies to your old 4 x 2 TB set up (the OS is on the drives).

Re: Frontview login issue
No, I tried "password" (same default on my new R7000 router). It's been several years since I did this last time. I'll try your recommendation, StephenB.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Frontview login issue
It worked, NAS has been accessed, shares configured and files are being copied as I type.
Thanks, StephenB.
Thanks, StephenB.
