HELP: Accidently Deleted Share on ReadyNas Duo
Hi,
I accidently deleted my share (media) on my ReadyNas Duo. Is there any way to retrieve it?
I have read some older posts however nothing seems to have been updated since 2008. Has there been any head way in retrieving the lost Share.
I have the latest firmware (RAIDiator 4.1.10)
Please help
I am a windows person and not Linux so if there is a way please provide detail steps on restoring.
I have "Disabled Full Data Journaling" checked however I do not have Disable journaling checked
Any Help is appreciated
Would have been nice for a warning that would have stated something to the effect "Deleting Share will cause loss of data! Do you wish to proceed"

Re: HELP: Accidently Deleted Share on ReadyNas Duo
first you need to make sure that your volume is mounted as EXT2,if so,there is way to recover deleted data using e2undel tools
http://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/har ... del.8.html
all you need to do is plugging an USB storage and issuing the command as below.
install apt.bin addon
http://www.readynas.com/download/addons ... PT_1.0.bin
apt-get update
apt-get install e2undel
e2undel -d /dev/c/c -s /USB_HDD**
