Help with drive upgrade gone wrong DUO V1

Hi, so i have a Duo v1 and my two 1TB drives are finally almost full after a few years. So i decided to buy a 2TB drive to replace drive 1(volume C). I have it in raid 0 as two independent volumes.

So i used a HD cloning dock and cloned drive 1 onto the new 2TB drive. However, when i put the new drive into the bay, it recognizes it as a new drive ready to go, but has no shares or anything. So i put the old drive back in thinking everything would go back to the way it was, but it didn't.

What can i do to save my data on these drives?? How can i fix the original drive so the readynas recognizes it like it did before? I didn't make any modifications to it, just cloned off of it.

Did you hot-insert the disk drives, or insert them with the unit powered down?

i did a hot swap, which i think is my problem. Didn't know that only works with mirrored drives.

Hot swap begins by wiping the disk. Hot-inserting your original disk was a big mistake.

You could ask netgear support if a data recovery attempt is worthwhile (support.netgear.com). They would charge for the recovery attempt (whether data is actually recovered or not).
