tryind to use the 104 to store backup container files and keep them safe for ransomeware attacks. I was storing them in a folder I created and turning off network access SMB when the copy was complete. However there is a share called data which is a default share ? I need to have it turned off and I'm unable to do that from the share menu. Can someone help me with this?
You can only see that share if logged in as the admin. If you know the admin credentials you can login to the web admin interface and do what you like.
It's best to only use the administrative credentials for administrative tasks not for your day to day connections to SMB shares.
