How to change HDD in Bay 1?
Hi,
I own a RN104.
I installed a 320GB HD for testing in Bay 1.
Now I want to install the "real" 4TB HD in Bay 1, but I am not able to do this.
I also tried to reset to factory defaults, but after changing the HD the NAS is not able to start.
Can someone tell me how to change the HD step by step?
Thank you,
Chris

Re: How to change HDD in Bay 1?
Did you upgrade the firmware with the test disk, to 6.2.0?
What make and model drive is it?
What exactly did you do?
Did you power down, remove the test drive, insert the 4 tb drive, then follow the following procedure to do a factory default?
http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detai ... -or-314%3F
What exactly is happening when you do this?

Good.
As you have discovered it is usually best to post your question in English as you are much more likely to get a reply.
Your english is excellent but even Google translate's output would get the message across for those whose English isn't that good.
