My ReadyNas Duo RND200 v2 has stopped working. The system was unavailable and after a reboot the system never boots up. Power is ok, but the ventilators keep on running at max speed, blue power led is on but harddisk leds remain off. I tried reset, no result.
So I concluded: the device has broken down. It was running at the latest firmaware available.
Luckilly I replaced the 2 harddisks 2 years ago and so the data should still be on the harddisks. But the problem now is: how to retreive the data? I found some forum topics on it (with old solutions dating from 2009) but not a manual of some kind on how to retreive the data.
So: how do I proceed now on getting the data from one of the drives. I was using it in a 2x 2TB configuration. The drives have SATA connection, so something must be possible to retreive the data.
I am using a Win10 PC.

Try connecting disk 1 to a Windows PC (USB sata adapter is ok).
Then use R-linux for Windows - http://www.r-tt.com/free_linux_recovery/
