Thank you,
Here is an instruction on for RSYNC between two ReadyNASes in LAN.
You can use RSYNC over VPN for WAN access..
ReadyNAS A:
1. Enable RSYNC Service.
2. Enable RSYNC Protocol access in each ReadyNAS A Share.
3. type in ip address for ReadyNAS B in host allow access filed under Rsycn permission, and any other login info.
ReadyNAS B:
1. Enable RSYNC Service.
2. Enable RSYNC Protocol access in each ReadyNAS B Share.
3. type in ip address for ReadyNAS A in host allow access filed under Rsycn permission, and any other login info
From ReadyNAS's FrontView Backup Manager:
Setup FrontView Backup Job using RSYNC Protocal from either ReadyNAS A or ReadyNAS B as destination.
Pretty much, you can do this with Lunix/Unix system running Rsync.

Note also that rsync can be very memory intensive, depending on the # of files. Forum participants who have experienced rsync problems using Rsync on the ReadyNAS units have been able to address that issue by increasing the memory of the ReadyNAS to 512MB or 1GB.

Re: How to set up ReadyNAS to backup via rsync
Is it possible to sync ReadyNAS to ReadyNAS at VOLUME (not Share) level?
