Info Needed For Firmware Upgradation
Hi,
I am Augustus. I am having a ReadyNAS 316 Storage Device with me. Its details are as mentioned below.
ReadyNAS
Model :- 316
Capacity :- 6*4TB
Firmware:- 6.4.1
I need to update the firmware to the latest can i do that? or else i have to do that step by step process? 6.4 - 6.5, 6.5- 6.6 and goes on.., I think i have read in some page where it said that we cannot do a direct upgradation from 6.4.1 to whatever the latest is there. is that right?
Please help me.

That's a constraint for arm platforms (RN10x, RN20x), but not for your x86 NAS.
If you use the on-line update capability, it should offer you the intermediate firmware (in cases where that is needed).

Re: Info Needed For Firmware Upgradation
Hello ZeroGravityAV,
Yes you may upgrade straight to 6.8.0 from 6.4.1 on an x86 NAS. Just make sure you also read the released notes.
