Issue with my Nas

Dear all,

I'm a new user here. I have an issue with my Nas : Netgear ReadyNas RNX7B2000

I don't find my NAS in the drodown menu so I put one, the real model is ; rnx7b2000

When I turn on, I can see directly this :

the leds in front : 1,3 and 4 are blinking alternance with led number 2

Step one : leds 1,3 and 4 turn on and led 2 is off

Step 2 : Leds 1,3 and 4 are off and led 2 is on

...

I have no possiblity to ping it and not able to go to the web interface management.

I already remove all HDD and turn on the Nas and same issue.

If you can help me, it should be great.

Thanks in advance

Model: ReadyNAS-NV+|ReadyNAS NV+

Re: Issue with my Nas

I believe you have a ReadyNAS 600B.  That's a very old ReadyNAS - it goes back to ~2007 or so.  Can you post a photo?

The LED patterns are described here: https://www.readynas.com/download/documentation/support/ReadyNAS-LEDA.pdf Unfortunately I don't see your particular pattern listed.

You are seeing the same pattern of lights when the disks are removed?

Do you have a backup of your data?

Re: Issue with my Nas

Those are the Rev A patterns.

The Rev B patterns are here: https://www.readynas.com/download/documentation/support/ReadyNAS-LED.pdf

That error pattern indicates that the RAM (memory) is either not seated properly (it may have come loose if you recently moved the NAS) or that the memory (RAM) module has failed.
