Migrating ReadyNAS 2120 to ReadyNAS 3130
I have a ReadyNAS 2120 unit that seems to have a hardware failure. It was configured with a RAID5 setup. Can I swap all of the disks directly into a ReadyNAS 3130 unit? If the disks were OK, what is the risk of data loss?

Yes, you can migrate the disks.
The 3130 will migrate the OS from Arm to x86. That works well for the NAS application, but many apps (for instance plex) cannot be migrated, so will have to be reinstalled.

Very low. I've done similar migrations a couple of times, and had no issues.

Just to make sure: you have an RN2120 (OS6 rack-mount unit), not an RND2120 (old NV+ desktop unit), correct? @StephenB's answer assumes you do, which is likely a good assumption since you want to move to another rack-mount unit.

Yes, you are correct. Both units are rack-mounted. Thanks for the additional verification.
