Mixing X-RAID and Flex-RAID

Hi,
just pondering ...
Can I, in an RN316 or RN516, create one single disk volume AND one X-RAID2 volume ?
Or for that matter, one RAID-1 volume of two disks and one X-RAID volume of 4 disks ?
The purpose would be to have a single fast disk/volume (eg SSD), and then have a second flexible/expandable volume with normal disks.
TIA,
Bart

X-RAID cannot be enabled when you have multiple volumes in the NAS since X-RAID would require that it has all disks in 1 volume.
As such, you might be able to get away with shutting down the chassis, removing your SSD volume, turning the NAS back on and try toggling back on X-RAID since there is only 1 volume in the NAS now.
