More probs after updating to 6.2.0

I just updated my RN314 to OS6.2.0 / Max OS10.9

Question 1:
And now my homefolder is gone and away. The only way seams to be to activate SMB (but using it with SMB brings other troubles)

Any Ideas?


The second question is, that the access to the NAS is much slower (over all) tan any of my USB2 harddrives. Seems that, if you have containerfiles you get trouble.
I tried to copy 28GB of date (about 45.000 files) that took more than 1.5 hours. With a usb the same work is done in about 30 minutes!
And for file-deletion: the best way is to use the shell (rm -r)

Any solutions? (for optimizing the Nas for a Mac?)

On the home folders: did you try clicking on the "home" share, and enabling AFP? What happens when you try that?

On the speed:
Are you copying from the mac to the NAS?

Also, are you using a wifi connection or wired ethernet? Do you have a gigabit network?

Was the 28 GB transfer a container?
