Mount External USB read/write?

I connected an external drive to my ReadNAS 516 and I'm puzzled.. I fainly reall USB drives used to show up in front view and when browsing via SMB.  Not anymore?

It's connected as a backup to the drive seems to work, I just can't seem to access it otherwise.  Any tips?

May I know the current firmware of your RN516?

Is the issue happening when you connect the external drive to any USB ports on the NAS?

Have you already tried rebooting the NAS and see if you will still get the same issue?

Well, it turned out the drive was failing and eventually no other machine was able to read it.

Once I get that replaced I will try again and see if it the readynas shows it.  I curently have the latest firmware, 6.10.3.
