Moving Drives

I have a ReadyNas and a Chassis.

The Readynas has the following drives:
4-4-4-4-4-4

The chassis has:
3-3-3-3-3

I recently bought a 6TB and put that in the Readynas:
6-4-4-4-4-4

And now I have an extra 4... I want to put that into the chassis to replace a 3TB but I know that it will have a problem because the drive was already formatted in the old system. How can I make this work?

You could connect the 4TB disk up to a PC and delete the partitions off it.
