NAS 314 error tcp_ack+633

HI,

my NAS stopped responding on the display it shows tcp_ack+633.

Any one knows what this means?

I had to power force it down and reboot.

It's now doing a resync, the event log didn't show anything.

@schnax

It seems to have something to do with the Network connection.

Are both NIC in use? Have you check if there are any disconnection that occurred? If you can send me the logs thru Goggle Drive and send me a link thru Pm we might be able to check.

@schnax

Thanks for sending it.

It seems your NAS volume is nearing full capacity. Have you transferred or deleted data already or any plans of expanding your volume? It can be one possible cause the performance of the NAS is getting degraded.

Also, the ETH bond is going offline that might cause packet drops. Possibly due to degraded performance or an issue with cabling.

Are you still getting the error? have you tried breaking the bond and using one NIC to check?

Re: NAS 314 error tcp_ack+633

SO far the unit has been fine since yesterday - still resyncing.

I will try and break the bond.

I realise the NAS is getting full but still has 1.TB of free space -will look at this.

I have the exact same issue. Never had any issues with this SAN. Only change has been upgrading Orbi router to 2.6.2.200.

Re: NAS 314 error tcp_ack+633

I had the same error shortly after I updated the 314 to 6.10.5.

I rebooted this morning and everything seems to work again…

Examining the system.log, I see hundreds of rejected attemps to connect to the NAS before it stopped responding.
