NAS104 USB Connection

Has anyone tried to connect the NAS 104 to a computer to transfer files faster than over the Network? I have about 8 TB to transfer and I don't want to do it over the network? Please help...

It's not a USB disk.

A wired gigabit ethernet connection is the faster connection you're going to make to your NAS.
