NAS214 Not Responding SMB2_toon+184

ReadyNas 214 not responding

 

RN214 screen displays "SMB2_toon+184"

 

no network connectivity , can't shut it down from the Power button . i had to unplug its cable to make it work.

 

no errors appear in the logs, all 3 disks are healthy.

 

i'm using the latest firmware 6.9.5

Hi @Rami80

 

Welcome to the Community!

 

Do you have the full logs so we can check on it? This seems to be an issue with SMB and might need escalation from Support.

 

If you have full backup of your Data, it might be better to perforrm a Factory reset on the NAS and then just transfer back the data to it. Otherwise, the best step would be to log a case with NETGEAR Support and have this checked by a NETGEAR L3 expert and have your Data be secured.

No.

 

What you can do is store the zip file in cloud storage (for example google drive or dropbox), and send a private message (PM) to @Marc_V with the link.  To send a PM, you click on the envelope icon in the upper right of the forum.
