No Guest Access to Public Shares from Domain PC

Hi,

I think this is related to my other problem regarding not being able to access a printer attached to my ReadyNAS Duo.

I can access my public shares from my workgroups PCs (Win7 and Win2008R2), but when I try to access the ReadyNAS from my Win2008R2 domain registered PC by typing in the share name (\\mynas) into Windows Explorer, I get prompted to "Enter Network Password". What do I have to do to access these public shares without a userid, just like the workgroup PCs?

If I enter the user as "guest" (no password), then I do see the shares & can then access the files. So I know I can access them, I just need to be able to configure Windows (or the NAS?) to auto-login as "guest" when accessing the NAS workgroup.

Surely this is a common issue - other people must access their home NAS using a work PC?

I would also benefit from an answer to this question.
