Not able create multiple volumes on Pro 6
Not able to create multiple volumes on Pro 6 with 6x3TB discs. Want to create 3 volumes, 3TB each using raid 1. Can create 1 volume (c) and the rest of the discs is grayed out below the volume.
The Pro 6 came disc less and 6x Caviar Green WD30EZRS orded on the side.
What Can I do to solve this???
Thanks in Advance 🙂

Re: Not able create multiple volumes on Pro 6
Are you using Flex-RAID?
What version of RAIDiator?
You can only create one volume at a time. Once the volume has finished being created you can add another one.

Yes, I use Flex-raid and the F/W is RAIDiator 4.2.18. I can choose discs and create on Volume (chose raid type, hotspare, and size), but after one volume is created it I can not create a new volume (available discs is grayed out). How long does it take to complete a new volume?

Re: Not able create multiple volumes on Pro 6
It depends on multiple factors. With high capacity disks it can take quite a while. You should see the progress in RAIDar and under Volumes in Frontview.

Okej, but it is still grayed after the Readynas reboots and I can save files in the new volume. Does the volume need to be in sync before I can create a new volume?

Yes the volume needs to be in sync before you can create a new volume.
