Re: One workstation cannot access the NAS on my network.
It is most likely related to credentials (and Microsoft has been tightening up guest access).
Try running CMD and enter these two commands:
net use * /delete
net use t: \\nas-ip-address\data /user:admin nas-admin-password
using the real IP address and NAS admin password. Be careful on the typing (both slash direction and spaces). If you use flexraid, then make sure you use the real data volume name (instead of data). The last caveat - if your admin password is still password, then you need to change it before doing this test.
The first command terminates any open SMB sesssions on the PC. These aren't always obvious from the PC GUI, so don't skip that command. If it prompts you to continue, let it.
The second attempts to map the NAS data volume to drive letter T.
If this works, then I recommend entering the username/password of a user account on the NAS into the Windows Credential Manager of the PC. You'd want to create two credentials - one using the IP address, and one using the hostname.
If it fails, let us know the errors you get.
