Password Recovery but No Email
I have forgotten the password for my ReadyNAS NV+. I went to the URL on my network for the ReadyNAS password_recovery: https://192.168.1.xx/password_recovery. The ReadyNAS password recovery page came up. I entered the email address and answered the security question. A message appear saying the password was reset and a new one would be emailed. I have not received an email with the new password. My network is behind a ATT Uverse 2 Wire router/switch with built in firewall. Has Netgear stopped this password recovery service? What can I do to get the password to change the ReadyNAS setup?

Re: Password Recovery but No Email
To reset the password you do an OS reinstall. That changes the IP configuration to DHCP and the admin password to factory default (which would be netgear1 in your case). Other settings (and data) should remain intact. The procedure is on page 23 of the hardware manual here: http://www.readynas.com/download/docume ... 6Dec11.pdf
After you get back in, you should test email alerts, and make sure they are working for you.
