Please remove inactive volumes in order to use the disk. RN104

Dear All ,

 

I have a problem with my RN104 , there was an error with one of my HDD 2tb , i have 4 x 2 tb in raid 5, so i changed the HDD with another one but i made it on power on, now when i put it on , in web browser looks like in attach , and it said data 0 , free 0 , raid 5.

please i need your help because i have all my documents here,

There is no attachment.

Was the replacement drive formatted?  I'm guessing it was (and came out of a ReadyNAS).

 

Try powering down and removing the replacement drive.  The power up again, and see if the volume mounts (degraded).  If it does, then back up the data before proceeding further.

 

If it doesn't mount, then I suggest using paid netgear support (my.netgear.com).
