Popcorn Hour A110 no longer sees ReadyNAS DNLA

I dont use the Popcorn Hour much so not exactly sure when this stopped working. The Popcorn no longer shows the ReadyNAS as an available media source. I've installed a DNLS server on my MAC (TVMOBiLi) and the Popcorn Hour sees instantly. I've also installed a DNLA client and its see both the TVMOBiLi server and the ReadyNAS.

At the moment my conclusion is some odd compatibility issue between the ReadyNAS and the Popcorn Hour. The only change I can think I made was to install RAIDiator 4.1.8, which I did for LION OS X support. But as I dont use the Popcorn much I cant be sure when the problem first occurred.

I've seen other report issues with ReadyDNLA and accessing it from other clients, since they installed 4.1.8, so wondered if it was related.

Is anyone else seeing same problems with Popcorn Hour
Does anyone have any suggestions to further debug the issue?

Thanks! Paul

  • I have exactly the same problem accessing the NV+ from Xbox and WD HD Live since upgrading to 4.1.8 from 4.1.6.

  • Same here ! All my others DLNA servers/renderers are still working fine, but none of them can reach the Readynas Duo using UPnP... I noticed this a few days after upgrading to 4.1.8
