Also tried ##RAIDar app & find the above error, rest everything is fine. please help me how i can access its data or shared drive so that i can work

There are several possible causes.  Download the full NAS log zip file from the logs page, there are clues in there.

If you want me to take a look at your logs, then put it into cloud storage (dropbox, google drive, etc), and send me a download link via a private message (PM).  Make sure the permissions are set so anyone with the link can download.  You send a PM using the envelope icon in the upper right of the forum page.

Your data is at risk, unless you have a backup.  Don't try deleting the volume or taking other action to try and fix the problem until you've sorted out the cause from the logs, as that can result in data loss.

The volume is inactive (not mounted, or maybe not even assembled), so the 100% part of the screenshot isn't real.

  • Is there other evidence (a RAIDar error for example) that tells you that the issue is lack of space?
  • Do you recall how full the volume was shortly before the error happened?

FWIW, a completely full volume is potentially one cause - but it is not an easy one to fix.  BTRFS doesn't handle exhaustion of free space very well.  I always recommend keeping at least 15% free space on the volume (and running balances periodically).

Do you recall if ssh was enabled on the NAS?

Today i connect the ##NAS RN652x with separate pc with same network IP (without internet & straight cable) & accessed the admin page but shared drive was not openin

There were error "No Volume exists ". NETGEAR recommends that you create a volume before configuring other settings. Navigate to the system -> Volumes page to create a volume.

Please suggest next course of action.

As I warned above, creating a new volume will destroy your data.

Have you tried downloading the log zip file now that you have access to the admin web ui?

If you also cannot download the log from the GUI, that may indicate a full OS partition, which is different from the inaccessible data volume (but often go hand-in-hand).  If the log you can view from the GUI is updating at all (if the OS partition is full, it may not be), then there should be warnings about a full OS partition if that's the issue.

The 0/27.3 TB info is NOT relevant.  The log zip is not in the data volume.  The NAS creates it in the OS partition, and then it is downloaded to your PC.

What exactly is happening when you try to download the log zip file?

Re: RAID level 5 inactive 27.3TB (100%) of 27.3TB used

Does the log you can view in the GUI include any warnings about a full OS partition?  If not, does it seem to be updating at all?

@a2zitsupport - if you cannot download the full zip, it would be helpful if you could post a screenshot of the logs page.

What happens if you click ok and then go to system->logs?

Can you post a screenshot of that page?

Also see if you can download the zip file.

@a2zitsupport - you should remove the log zip from your google drive - there is some privacy leakage when you share the zip publicly.

Disk 1 (WD-WX11DC61Y8HA) has failed and the NAS has disabled it.

FWIW, Disk 4 (WD-WX11DB6NN333) is starting to generate pending sector errors, so that needs to be watched carefully (and perhaps replaced).  But not now.

I can't see the details of the RAID assembly in the logs - they are flooded with the errors on disk 1.  Try powering down the NAS and removing disk 1. Always good to check the serial number, and make sure it is the right drive. Then reboot it, and get fresh logs.  Send the zip to me via private message (PM) using the envelope icon in the upper right of the forum page.
