READYNAS 104 upgraded to 6.1.5 no front view

So i just upgraded my Ready Nas 104 from 6.1.4 to 6.1.5 and waited and waited for my system to reboot..... after approximately 6 hours it still had not rebooted so i pulled the power (i know that's a no no but common after 6 hours). after a bit of time the LCD basically showed that the system was running and was ready so i proceeded to try to log into the front view (dashboard... whatever you want to call it) and it keeps telling me that that was not a valid site. so then i went to check with RAIDar to make sure my ip was the same and that it was not a human (me) error.

what RAIDar told me was that my system was running 6.1.5 and that my ip address was correct, so i clicked on the setup button and it took me to the ready nas's site. Again same page "webpage is not available or offline". so panicking; thinking i have lost all my data i went back to RAIDar and clicked on the browse button and all my shares came up (after i put in my username and password).

So my obvious question to you gurus out there is how can i get back to my front view (dashboard)???
will i need to reload the OS? and if so how if i dont have the GUI interface?
Thanks a million

Re: READYNAS 104 upgraded to 6.1.5 no front view

so i tried the os reinstall totally forgot about that option, what end up happening was, on the LCD screen it said updating FW and in RAIDar said that it changed the ip address and name of my Ready nas (guessing it has defaulted my password too), but still cant see the page using the new or old ip address to try to log in

Re: READYNAS 104 upgraded to 6.1.5 no front view

guess this is netgears response to my problem:"Please back up your files then perform a factory reset on the NAS. Just make sure that you copy all the data off the NAS before doing factory reset as performing factory reset will erase all the data on the NAS."
guess no one has any other ideas?
