REcovering from a ransomware attack on RN204 (reformat and reinstall)
I REAZLLY need some help on this one. My network was hit by a ransomware attack that ended up with many files being encrypted with a .NOZELESN suffix. It was thought that this might be spoofed, but irrelevant.
So, as part of the clean up, I need to copy ALL the files (6-8 TB) off of the RN204 probably to an external drive directly attached to the NAS.
I probably need to do this on the box, without using RAIDAR for fear of further coimp0roimjise, How to do it?
Then, I need to reformat all NAS volumes and copy the remjaining good files back ohto the NAS volumes,.
I amj not sure about thje best way to do this.
Any comments, ideas, help much appreciated.
