RN 104 just want to boot on usb

hi all and sorry for this question.

My rn 10400 séries 100 dont boot since yesterday and ask to boot on usb.

I tried to create this usb stick with appropriate tools (netgear recovery tool).

my nas boot on usb and tell me usb recovery during 10 sec then it shutdown at the end.

after it want not boot properly and ask again to boot on usb...

can someone help me please?..

If you boot normally, NAS always boot from USB disk, it should be backup button has problem,

because NAS will boot from USB disk if press backup button when boot NAS.

You might try a different flash drive.

If you purchased the NAS new, then the hardware warranty is 3 years.  Check to see if you are covered - if you are, you can ask for an RMA via my.netgear.com.

Did you press backup button? it seems backup button is always in  "press"  status on your NAS, so NAS always boot from USB.

Could you please check your backup button status?

Ty guys :

1st When my nas booting on usb stick , backup button led is on and stable. When i try to boot in normal mode the nas backup button split quickly in on/off and it want to boot on usb stick.

2. No he was 3 years old and a little over then no warranty i saw it on may netgear account....

3. i will try another usb stick

done with 2 other usb stick ... always the same, the nas write usb recovery  and 15 sec after shutting down. I power on it and then it want to boot on usb and backup led button and power on button flashes...

Maybe i didn't create my usb stick properly but i don't know how i can do better....

Ty you was right. I clean backup button inside desktop and all is ok now.
