[sorry for bad/homemade english]
There are already some post about my problem, but quite different solutions and I´m at the moment not really in to try whatever suggestions and maybe make bad things worse...I don´t feel lucky tonight:-/
Ok, here´s the plot:
Some weeks ago I got my system degraded due to failing disk, channel 5. All greyd out/missing in administration.
Warranty gave me a new one, replaced it and waited through sync during night. After sync I made a restart and everything seemed to be ok, the degraded-warning had disappeared and all disks reported green/online. I didn´t check filesystem though, downloaded new firmware and went to work.
When coming home I found all disks red and the request in subject....and no volumes.
Tried restart...and removing the new disk.
I can see in log (extract below) that another disk (channel 3) reported failed just before the new disc was synced and went online, that didn´t show at all when I checked some hours later. There´s also an entry telling volume still degraded, everything was green and healthy in the morning though...and the yellow DEGRADED I´ve been looking at for some weeks was all gone.
No entries in standard log during day telling when green turned red.
What to do?

It looks like disk 3 failed at the end of the resync process (2:52:33), and the volume was degraded when you restarted it (5:42:44).
The log also shows that disk 5 was removed again after the restart 18:31:38. Were you doing anything with the NAS at about that time?
I suggest using paid support. If you purchased (new) between 1 June 2014 and 31 May 2016 you have courtesy chat support.

Re: RN 516 - Remove inactive volumes to use the disk #1,2,3,4,5,6
Yes, when I discovered the issue I tried what, in panic, seemed as the most logic action; remove the new drive...
Have to wait ´til chat support here opens in about 12 hours.
Any educated guess...what are the chances I will be able to rebuild the raid and recover my data?

I'm not sure about the odds. The disk 3 failure occured shortly before the resync completed. That tells me that the resync might have failed (despite the success message).
It's best to do nothing until they take a look.
