If I restart it it works fine a while then offline.
I have tried udate it and did a OS installation yesterday. Today its offline again.
Its offline both using the App and if I just log in to it using Explerer or firefox. (serval diffrent computers and users) Cant access Admin pages.
This problem has been like this for a cupple of weeks.

Re: RN102 Offline by readycloud
Make sure that DNS settings are configured correctly:
etho;
settings;
IPv4: IP adres NAS + 8.8.8.8 plus 8.8.4.4
IPv6: disabel
In my case it works perfectly.

Re: RN102 Offline by readycloud
Hi
I have always before had the NAS config for DHCP
But now I have changed it to static IP and the same DNS my router use for internet.
The NAS has turned offline 2 times after this. So its not stabil when I use the DNS either.

Re: RN102 Offline by readycloud
Hello Tshessel,
Can you please post a screen capture of what you see on the admin page's Cloud?
There is no need to set static IP at this time, just secondary DNS of 8.8.8.8.
Welcome to the community!

Re: RN102 Offline by readycloud
Server is on and online .
I don't understand why the server is going offline. I have this server for 3 years, no problems at all. Now the server stays 2 minutes on line and then he is offline.
Have someone a solution?
Thanks in advance

Re: RN102 Offline by readycloud
Hi
The picture thats is posed looks exactly the same for me exept that I use a diffrent IP and DNS.
I have same problem from 5 diffrent computers and the app on an Iphone. None can access the NAS when it goes offline.
The OS is diffrent some Win 7 and others Win 10
Using the Windows APP latest version. And by explorer and firefox. All giving the same result.
I have also tried to turn off evrything I dont need.
I also have notice that the NAS has VERY slow connections out to the internet.
Have to wait sometimes 2-3 minutes to read in the folders with 2 word doc in it.
So do you think this can be somting with open up ports true the firewall. That its using a port that not working great. So thats is slow so its timing out.
I have my nas in a gigabit netwok with internet 300 mbit down and 200 mbit up. So my folders should not take minutes to load...
When I use my NAS in my network the slowest thing is the harddrives. Working in the folders in the same speed like its on my computer.
Any thought?

Hi Tshessel,
Can you try disabling the anti-virus of the ReadyNAS?

I have tried for a short moment now to just disable and reactivate the Virus program. I cant se any difrent now.
But I have also looked in to the last I wrote with ports and I have open up following ports.
21
6300 Acording by settings in NAS
and 8080
I have also looked att setting in the NAS witch services I have
And now I have activated
SMB
NFS
FTP
UPnP
HTTP
HTTPS
Antivirus.
Now Its going faster than ever before. But I dont know exacly what I have changed becuse a while now I have had the redycloud app Be connected by VPN offline.
What services should be activated for use of ready cloud for backup and sync and file transer?

Hi Hessel,
I would normally be removing FTP and NFS from your list.

Hi venneutje,
Have you tried a different browser? Are you within the same network when connecting via the Windows 10 device?

Re: RN102 Offline by readycloud
Hi Framer,
I have tried different browsers (IE, chrome, edge). I can reach my server through the website:
So you see i reach my server, but I still get the message that my server is offline.
Also through the app:
When I reach my server through intern network you can see that it is online en working:
When I restart the NAS server through the intern network I can reach the NAS again through the website ready cloud a few minutes. Then I get the message again server offline.
I hope that you can solve this horrible problem. I have to backup every day my laptop, desktop manual to my nas. Copy/paste.
Greetings
Herman.
