RN104 fail to boot

RN104 fail to boot

Hi, today I made an aupgrade FW to 6.10 and after reboot I get an error on LCD
mount_block_root+248

 

I am unable to recover OS from USB, reinstall OS, factory default etc.

Your NAS also has an old kernel. OS 6.10 uses kernel 4.4. What was the firmware of the NAS before you upgraded it to 6.10?

Hi,

6.9.5 .The problem perhaps was damaged RAM, and reboot just kill this NAS. 

 

Currently, I suspect RAM damage. And I made something stupid( you know it is after midnight and you feel that there must be something that can fix the issue 🙂 , I have erased the whole NAND, without u-boot binaries I am not able to fix it. 

 

This NAS was a gift, and as a result, Netgear support refuses to fix it on warranty without proof of purchase. 

So I made an order for a new RAM on Aliexpress Hynix H5TQ2G83DFRH9C and NAND Hynix H27U1G8F2BTR

The NAND is not a problem yet, as I have working one from the previous RN104. It seems that this one had exactly this same issue.  There are a lot of companies with the proper hardware to do it, and even if they refuse or ask me about astronomical price, I can order the programmer ProMan Professional TSOP48

 

As I saw in logs, every time when new FW is stored, there is a check, and BIOS is trying to boot u-boot every 10000 blocks
