RN2120 Not Responding
I have several of these like this now.
RN 2120, 4 WD2000FYYZ Enterprise Drives installed.
Original Firmware 6.1.1, upgraded months ago to 6.5
Working fine then one day no response from it.
All drives lights solid Blue, Solid Power, Flashing LAN light.
RAIDar does not show the unit.
No response to ping or any other port.
Removed drives and ran testing, all test perfect. Attempted Factory Reset.
In boot menu, I had Solid Power and Solid LAN1, Held Reset for 5 seconds and the LAN light just starts flashing as normal. Nothing happens.
Replaced all drives with a single new drive, Ran Factory Reset, Same thing with the LED's
Never shows in RAIDar.
5 days after the last attempted Factory Reset it is still sitting there with a flashing LAN light and solid Power Light.
Power button does not work to shutdown so have to toggle the power on the back.
I have attempted multiple times with multiple drives to facotry reset it to no avail.
I have 6 more with the same issue and an additional 46 in the racks right now. Is it time to just rip them all out as the failure rate is now one a week.
Using as Windows Share only. No additional apps installed.
