"Every" might depend on the region you are looking for your RN. Must admit, the resellers here in Europe only show low stock, and most seem to refer to the stock of one distributor only. Nothing formally discontinued....
I too would like to know the "official" answer to this.
I have asked in the past with when are we expecting, if ever a refresh, of the ReadyNAS range.
We have about 6 ReadyNAS products and are a fan of them.
We are running out of capacity on our RN428s, and here in Australia we have the same issue for 6 months now. Stock was low and now it seems unavailable from all the resellers.
Is this due to COVID and supply chain?
Or is the RN428 being retired?
Will there be a replacement model?
Or is Netgear getting out of the NAS game as everyone is moving to the cloud?
I think existing customers deserver some answer / visibility into this, no?
