The Netgear manufacturer warranty is not transferable (as noted above). Retailer warranties in the EU are another story.
I'd think that if you file away clear proof-of-purchase, your netgear registration account credentials (and the email account/password you used when you registered) that your children might be able to get Netgear support anyway.
