I am looking at a used RN526. The specs say it has 2 x 10 Gbs ethernet ports and zero 1 Gbs ports. My network switch is only 1 Gbs, although I plan to upgrade the network in the future. I cannot find anything about the RN526 working with a 1G switch. Does anyone have experience?

The ports support auto-negotiation which means that if your switch/router only has 1G ports, the NAS will automatically adjust down to 1G as well. No worries with that.
