RNDP6000 red LED1 on motherboard flickering, not booting.
Hi,
we are Netgear reseller and my spare unit does not want to boot.
We have never had to use it so far, but now we need it to support a customer.
The system does not boot. The display shows READYNAS and the fans go full speed and that's it.
I looked if all cables are well connected and if the memory is seated correctly (swapped it with memory from a working unit) and all looks fine there.
I did notice however that the tiny LED1 beside the CPU-fan is flickering.
Anyone any ideas what that might inidcate ?
Regards,
Bart

Do you have disks installed?
What status does RAIDar tell you?

Hi,
it does not matter with or without disks.
Raidar does not see the unit.
It's something with the motherboard, but I was wondering if LED1 was telling what is was (memory, CPU, ...).
Power button Blue LED is on, backup green LED is on, and fans are running full speed.

LED1 just tells you that the motherboard is getting power. Not sure if there is any significance to the flickering.

It looks a lot like a dead motherboard.
Any ideas where I can get replacement motherboards.
The tag say FA6, Flame6 v1.2
