RNDU2000 RAIDAR Cannot Find ReadyNAS after Factory Reset

Bonjour,
Merci d'avance.

Nobru06's system had the same problem and has also been fixed. And yes it's the middle of the night down here.

Re: RNDU2000 RAIDAR Cannot Find ReadyNAS after Factory Reset
Hello Nobru06,
How did you factory reset the ReadyNAS Ultra 2? It should be from the boot menu. This will not only delete the current config of the NAS but also format the disks, deleting all files stored.
If you have already done from the boot menu, please check the disks with diagnostic tools, it is possible that one (or both) of the disks is having trouble.
Welcome to the community!

Re: RNDU2000 RAIDAR Cannot Find ReadyNAS after Factory Reset
Hello
I have the same problem with my Ultra 2. I cannot pass the factory reset.
- I reset to factory reset, (boot up with reset button, select option with light on drive 1)
- Unit pops up in Raidar 6.1
- I set the standard Xraid settings
- Raidar says installing
- The device disappears from all Raidar
- It never comes back, waited 24 hours
- The unit is pingable
- Tried with different disks, all brand new and on the compatibility list.
I have no data on the disks, so anything can be done.
Please help.
Best regards
Didrik

Didrik_Berntsen, your problem is now fixed. The firmware on the flash was corrupt. This problem in some cases may be run into when doing a factory reset.
Nobru06, do you still have this issue?
